Today we celebrated our amazing 4th Grade Bears during their promotion ceremony and clap out! 💚💛🐻🎓
We are so proud of all they have accomplished at Buckalew Elementary School and already can’t wait to welcome them back for their Senior Clap Out as the Class of 2034! ✨

What an amazing week of kickball for our 3rd grade girls! Watching their teamwork and encouragement throughout the tournament made us so proud!
Congratulations to the PANTHERS for an exciting championship win in a nail biting, one run game! What a finish!
We also want to give a very special thank you to three boys who stepped up as our AWESOME base coaches. We couldn't have done it without you! Also thank you to Coach Russell for allowing us to use the new gym to play since the weather was not in our favor. Rain or shine: we play kickball!

Our 3rd grade boys recess kickball tournament was a huge success! Many of the boys were new to kickball, but their teammates quickly stepped up to teach and encourage each other. They had so much fun together! Congratulations to our first annual champions, the CANNONBALLERS!

Our 3rd graders proudly shared their amazing writing pieces with family and friends at our special Authors' Tea Celebration! This event showcases their creativity, hard work, and growth as young authors!
We are so grateful for Alison and Ashley! From bandaging scraped knees to offering comfort in times of need, we appreciate how they serve our school so that our students can learn in a safe and healthy environment!

🎶 Our Buckalew Bel Canto choir is wrapping up a wonderful year of making music together! From their beautiful concert performances last week to participating in the annual Highlander Festival at McCullough JH today, these students have wowed us every step of the way. We topped it all off with a very fun end-of-year party celebrating an incredible year of hard work, growth, and friendship. We are so proud of this amazing group of singers! 💚🎵

Reading Restaurant was a success! Our First Graders loved sharing their reading growth with family and friends!
💚💛 Buckalew Staff are so blessed by our amazing Hospitality Committee and PTO for absolutely spoiling us this week! From a fun candy bar, coffee and pastries ☕🍩, bundt cakes, and Sonic drinks 🥤 to a totally awesome 90’s-style Whataburger buffet 🍔🎶, and an incredible Trucker Hat Bar courtesy of our PTO — the love and support shown to our staff means so much!

Buckalew students were beyond excited to visit the new school they’ll be attending next year, buzzing with anticipation the entire time. Walking through the halls and exploring the campus made everything feel more real and gave them something exciting to look forward to.
All library books were due May 4. Library books still checked out on May 11th will be added to School Cash Online.
