A huge thank you to our incredible PTO for your amazing fundraising efforts during the 2025–2026 school year!
Because of our community support in fundraising, we were able to use our remaining PTO funds to update our library furniture for the first time in 27 years, creating a beautiful and colorful space that complements our flood replacement furnishings received this past December. The new furniture has officially arrived, and our Buckalew Bears will enjoy this refreshed library for the upcoming school year and for many years to come! Thank you again and again!! 🐻📚💚

Today we celebrated our amazing 4th Grade Bears during their promotion ceremony and clap out! 💚💛🐻🎓
We are so proud of all they have accomplished at Buckalew Elementary School and already can’t wait to welcome them back for their Senior Clap Out as the Class of 2034! ✨
Our Kindergarten Bears absolutely SHINED in their beautiful end-of-year program! 💚💛🐻
We are so proud of all they’ve learned, the memories made, and the way they’ve grown this year. What a sweet way to celebrate an amazing kindergarten year! ✨🎓
What an amazing week of kickball for our 3rd grade girls! Watching their teamwork and encouragement throughout the tournament made us so proud!
Congratulations to the PANTHERS for an exciting championship win in a nail biting, one run game! What a finish!
We also want to give a very special thank you to three boys who stepped up as our AWESOME base coaches. We couldn't have done it without you! Also thank you to Coach Russell for allowing us to use the new gym to play since the weather was not in our favor. Rain or shine: we play kickball!

Our 3rd grade boys recess kickball tournament was a huge success! Many of the boys were new to kickball, but their teammates quickly stepped up to teach and encourage each other. They had so much fun together! Congratulations to our first annual champions, the CANNONBALLERS!

Our 3rd graders proudly shared their amazing writing pieces with family and friends at our special Authors' Tea Celebration! This event showcases their creativity, hard work, and growth as young authors!
We are so grateful for Alison and Ashley! From bandaging scraped knees to offering comfort in times of need, we appreciate how they serve our school so that our students can learn in a safe and healthy environment!
