About Me

I grew up in a small town in East Texas. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University, I moved to Houston, Texas and started my teaching career. I have been teaching for 35 years. My teaching experience includes teaching grades 1-3, working with Reading and Math groups in grades K-5, and working with dyslexic students. My favorite grade to teach is First Grade!!!

I have two children, a daughter at Stephen F. Austin State University and a son who is an accountant and lives in South Houston.

We moved to the Woodlands/Conroe area 8 years ago. This is my 6th year in Conroe ISD and I am thrilled to be teaching at Buckalew Elementary.
